AdvantaStaff is looking to hire Processing Operators, 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am shift in the Colonial Heights area at $18.77(+ $1 shift differential). This is a temp to fulltime position with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and more once eligibility requirements are met. The primary job tasks for this position will be to perform production activities to ensure that quality products are produced for customers. Operator level A positions in production are Semi-Manual Operators.

PROOF OF VACCINATION IS REQUIRED (proof of 1st shot will be acceptable)

Working environment: 50 degrees

Pay: $18.77 day shift, $19.77 night shift

Hours/Schedule: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, working 2 days on/2 days off/every other weekend

Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must pass a drug screen
Must pass a background check
Must pass the WorkKeys test

Will need Steel Toe Boots(ONLY)

*Required Experience Manufacturing: 1 year

Job Responsibilities

• You will be required to clean and prep totes for production use. This will include assisting Garnish Operators with the prepping of Garnishes.
• Establishes the proper operating parameters for equipment by checking or entering settings on the control panel monitor or by manually turning switches, dials, levers or knobs.
• Manually loads ingredients into equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Manually record production, equipment test, and quality assurance data on forms.
• Visually checks the interior and exterior surfaces of equipment to verify cleanliness after manual and COP tank cleaning and sanitation processes are complete.
• Communicates with associates in person to convey information about work in process, production schedules, and production problems, or to request assistance or get instructions on how to perform a task.
• Participates in pass-down meetings or informal shift change meetings by communicating or obtaining information about the status of work, recipes to run, the cleaning process, and equipment or other issues.
• Attends meetings and training sessions to obtain or maintain the information, knowledge, and skills needed to successfully perform the job
• Disposing of trash and assisting in the cleaning of high-care areas in the plant.
• Adhere to attendance standards
• Adhere to all Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements
• Work in a safe manner, report all accidents and incidents immediately, follow all safety rules and regulations according to company and governmental standards, and attend safety meetings and training
• Perform general housekeeping duties – Keep work area clean/dispose of waste
• Interact with all team members with courtesy and professionalism
• Participate in company improvement projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
