AdvantaStaff is looking to hire a Payroll Associate.  This is a full-time, 40 hours a week position.  The position is a long-term contract role.

Pay:
$50,000 – 65,000 per year

Hours/Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8 am – 5 pm, must be flexible
40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the processing of bi-weekly payroll for a multi-site organization including hourly payroll
• Work closely with the payroll vendor to make any corrections for adjustments
• Record and track the transfer of employees between internal cost centers
• Research and respond to routine employee inquiries regarding payroll calculations and deductions; investigate and make appropriate corrections
• Prepare and maintain payroll reports and records
• Provide assistance in the processing of earning verifications, bonuses, car allowance, garnishments, 401k, loans, or any other special payments, deductions, or earning verifications
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Entry level
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work with a diverse team
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced work environment, pay close attention to detail and meet business driven deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid interpersonal skills;
• Solid Excel skills
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
