AdvantaStaff is looking to hire a Payroll Manager. This is a full-time placement.
Pay:
$120,00 – 125,000
Responsibilities:
• Reviews back up required for processing payroll and resolve payroll issues
• Prepare actual and accrual entries to support month end close
• Support payroll bank reconciliation monthly and general ledger reconciliation quarterly
• Manages relationship with payroll vendor to include daily system maintenance, system issues [resulting from feed issues between various systems and system upgrades]
• Provide payroll reports to requesting departments for budgeting purposes and budget to actual analysis
• Perform management internal control testing and reviews as well as process narrative updates
• Manages payroll team
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
• Minimum 4-6 years’ experience with handling payroll for 450+ employees, CPG a plus
• Independent thought-leader; self-motivated and self-directed work style; ability to work with a diverse team
• Ability to thrive in a high paced work environment, pay close attention to detail and meet business- driven deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate clear direction and influence others
• Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Advanced knowledge of payroll systems, Ultipro is a plus
• Excellent project management, prioritization and resource utilization abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
