AdvantaStaff is HIRING for Press Brake Operators
Must be able to work 10+ hours and up to 6-7 days per week
Must pass background check and drug screen
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 12 months prior manufacturing and/or brake press operator experience is required
Steel toe shoes are needed
Must pass math and ruler test
Air conditioned environment
Position located in Colonial Heights and/or North Chesterfield

Safely and efficiently operate a brake press to form metal parts.
–Duties and essential work functions
Understanding the press brake operation.
Identify proper tools for machine set-ups.
Identify and comprehend all blueprints.
Identify parts and descriptions using work order information.
Able to covert decimal equivalents into fractions.
Confers with brake lead to determine status of assigned projects.
Maintains work area in clean, safe, and orderly manner.
Understand procedures for ordering supplies used in work area.
Understand how to order parts.
Understand location of parts/supplies and contacts for order notification.
Uses proper safety equipment and apparel required.
Have working knowledge of all basic safety training specific to your work area.
Other duties may be assigned.
-Essential physical/environmental requirements
May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling.
Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 60 lbs)
Work is performed within a production environment. Subject to hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
