AdvantaStaff is looking to hire a Service Technician in the Chesterfield area starting at approximately $26 to $35 per hour. This is a temporary to a full-time position with the potential for direct hire immediately for a well-qualified candidate. Benefits once hired are health insurance, paid time off, and more once eligibility requirements are met.

Pay:
Approximately $26 to $35/hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist in verifications and hardware inspections to ensure the machine meets all technical specifications
• Installation and commissioning of automated machines and customer training. Annual and on-call maintenance to select customers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance
• Must be able to read and understand written procedures and mechanical and technical drawings
• Proficient in the use and understanding of tools as it applies to the installation and repair of mechanical and electrical components
• Must be able to become a practical source of information and problem solver on a technical level for customers
• PLC & HMI program downloading, configuration, validation, and customer training.
• Must be comfortable with dealing with customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 5 years of Industrial maintenance or fabrication of automated machinery. Electrical wiring and panel building a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Overnight travel to customer sites for installation and maintenance (up to 80%)
• Initial international travel is required for training (Passport required)
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, email, and calendar. Phone apps for receipts, video conferences, email, etc.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and processors. Vision systems are a plus.
